Craft Magic! Grown-Up Summer Camp - Individual Sessions
Join us for a summer of grown-up crafting fun! We’ve prepared six crafts to bring some joy and nostalgia to your summer. No prior crafting skills are needed for these, we provide all the materials and will guide you through the steps to create your own projects to bring home. Campers must be 21+, this is GROWN-UP Summer Camp!
Each standalone session is $30 per camper and includes all materials for the craft. Want to join all six sessions? Check our listing for the complete camp experience and save $30 off the total price! Campers don’t need to bring anything unless there is something specific you want to use in your project. Campers will also receive a merit badge for each session they attend!
Saturday June 14, 12pm to 3pm - Potholder weaving! Use a square loom to weave a cotton potholder to brighten up your kitchen! (Includes cotton loops to make one or two potholders, depending on enrollment.)
Saturday June 28, 12pm to 3pm - Beaded plants! Make an adorable forever plant using colorful beads and wire. Bring your own small vessel to use as a plant pot (something mug sized!) or choose one from our assortment of thrifted pots. (Includes beads, pot, wire, floral foam, and twine.)
Saturday July 12, 12pm to 3pm - Coiled baskets! Use fabric scraps and cotton rope to hand-stitch a cute basket to decorate your space and hold your trinkets! (Includes cotton rope, fabric scraps, yarn, and tapestry needle.)
Saturday July 26, 12pm to 3pm - Beadstravaganza! Channel your inner 90s kid and make a pony bead lizard bag charm, or whatever animal you can imagine up. Or make some friendship bracelets - we’ll have our stash of beads, beading elastic, embroidery floss, charms, jewelry findings, and shrink plastic available. (Includes beads and supplies to make several projects.)
Saturday August 9, 12pm to 3pm - Rubber stamp carving! Learn the basics of stamp carving and use simple carving tools to create your own stamps to print on paper or fabric. Bring your own tote bag or other fabric piece to stamp on! (Includes rubber stamp blank, inks and paint, printmaking paper, and fabric bandana.)
Saturday August 23, 12pm to 3pm - Macramé wall shelf! Learn basic macramé knots and make a small shelf to display your treasures! (Includes wooden shelf board, macramé twine, and beads to make a single shelf.)
Cancellation policy: Full refund will be granted if shop is notified of cancellation at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to the class time. A 50% refund will be granted if shop is notified of cancellation in the 72 hours prior to the class time. No refunds will be granted for no call/no show students.
