Join us for a summer of grown-up crafting fun! We’ve prepared six crafts to bring some joy and nostalgia to your summer. No prior crafting skills are needed for these, we provide all the materials and will guide you through the steps to create your own projects to bring home. Campers must be 21+, this is GROWN-UP Summer Camp!
This listing is for ALL SIX sessions! Save $25 by enrolling in all six! (Individual sessions are $30, leather notebook session is $50, regular price $200 for all six sessions)
Just want to attend one or two sessions? Individual listings will be coming soon!
Campers don’t need to bring anything unless there is something specific you want to use in your project. Campers will also receive a merit badge for each session they attend!
Saturday June 13, 12pm to 6pm - Bedazzling! Add some sparkle and whimsy to everyday objects. We’ll have an assortment of rhinestones, charms, and cute things to decorate with, plus lots of items you can choose to bedazzle! Bottles, storage tins, mirrors, pill organizers, photo frames… or bring your own item to decorate. (This is a drop in session, arrive anytime between 12pm and 4pm, plan to stay for 2-3 hours to work on your project!)
Saturday June 27, 12pm to 6pm - Beaded Rivalry! Choose your favorite saying or quote and stitch it into a decorative wall hanging using beads, sequins, and other decorative elements. It doesn’t have to be a quote from Heated Rivalry, we’re just obsessed. (This is a drop in session, arrive anytime between 12pm and 4pm, plan to stay for 2-3 hours to work on your project!)
Saturday July 11, 12pm to 6pm - Stamp Carving! Learn the basics of stamp carving and use simple carving tools to create your own stamps to print on paper or fabric. This year we’re focusing on carving personalized bookplates or postcard sized stamps, but you can carve anything you want! (This is a drop in session, arrive anytime between 12pm and 4pm, plan to stay for 2-3 hours to work on your project!)
Saturday July 25, 12pm to 6pm - Mini Trinket Shelves! Decorate a mini trinket shelf to display all of your tiny treasures. We’ll have unfinished wood shelves, paint, and all kinds of cute decorations for your projects! (This is a drop in session, arrive anytime between 12pm and 4pm, plan to stay for 2-3 hours to work on your project!)
Saturday August 8, 12pm to 6pm - Stuffed Animal Taxidermy! We saw it on TikTok and got obsessed, so of course we have to try it! Turn a cute stuffie into a piece of wall art by mounting it taxidermy-style and decorating it. We’ll have wooden plaques, paint, decorative trim, and stuffies, or bring your own small stuffie to work with! (This is a drop in session, arrive anytime between 12pm and 4pm, plan to stay for 2-3 hours to work on your project!)
Saturday August 22, 12pm to 4pm - Leather Notebook Cover! Learn basic leatherworking skills, including cutting, punching holes, sewing, and burnishing. Make a small notebook cover using vegetable tanned leather that will develop a beautiful patina over time. (This is a structured time class, campers must arrive at 12pm and expect to stay for the full time!)
Cancellation policy: Full refund will be granted if shop is notified of cancellation at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to the class time. A 50% refund will be granted if shop is notified of cancellation in the 72 hours prior to the class time. Partial (single session) cancellations are eligible for partial refund according to same time schedule. No refunds will be granted for no call/no show students.
