This class series meets for five sessions. Students should plan to attend all five sessions. No partial refunds for missed sessions.
Saturday January 17, 1pm to 3pm
Saturday January 31, 1pm to 3pm
Saturday February 7, 1pm to 3pm
Saturday February 21, 1pm to 3pm
Saturday February 28, 1pm to 3pm
In this series we will focus on stitch structure and technique based on stitch family. We will practice the stitches outside the confines of a design. Learn the basics of embroidery to be able to follow kit instructions easily or design our own embroideries. Beginners are welcome as well as experienced embroiderers who want to brush up on technique.
If you really want to take the series but can’t make one of the classes I will make sure you get all the stitch instructions and information you need for the missed class to get the complete embroidery foundation experience.
A kit of muslin, needle, and thread will be provided the first day of class. If needed another kit may be purchased for later classes at $5 each. You are also welcome to bring your own supplies. Hoops, scissors, and design tools will be supplied.
Cancellation policy: Full refund will be granted if shop is notified of cancellation at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to the class time. A 50% refund will be granted if shop is notified of cancellation in the 72 hours prior to the class time. No refunds will be granted for no call/no show students. To cancel, email the shop at covenofstitchesalameda@gmail.com.
