Save money and your favorite clothes by learning to repair them instead of discarding them! In this beginner class you’ll learn three styles of darning, traditional surface weaving, Swiss, and Scotch.
Course fee covers 3 hours of instruction. Students must bring an 8 inch square knitted swatch to use for practice during the class. To prepare the swatch, use yarn and needles appropriate to obtain gauge of approximately 5 stitches per inch. Cast on 40 sts, knit 8 rows (4 garter ridges), knit in stockinette (knit on right side, purl on wrong side) until work is 7.5 inches long, knit 8 rows (4 garter ridges), bind off.
Cancellation policy: Full refund will be granted if shop is notified of cancellation at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to the class time. A 50% refund will be granted if shop is notified of cancellation in the 72 hours prior to the class time. No refunds will be granted for no call/no show students.
